A quick update.

Happy Tuesday!  Here’s a quick update on what’s new with PEAK.

If you haven’t already, be sure to pre-register for next week’s PEAK Around Town.  On Thursday, October 12, we’ll meet at Cattails at MeadowView for a golf activity, a hamburger dinner, and beer.  (All of this is included in the event cost of $15!)  Golf clubs and golf balls will be provided.  This event is for golfers of all skill levels.  The event begins at 5:30 PM, but if you would like extra instruction from a golf pro, it will be available at 5 PM.  Click here to register.

PEAK Friendsgiving will take place November 9 at Nutty Java.  More details & a potluck sign up sheet will be released very soon.  In the meantime, please click here to save the date to your calendar.

Read a good book lately?  Some studies show that reading is critical to your success.  Read more about it in Jeremiah Clark’s most recent professional development post – Your Library to Success.

How’s your PEAK fall bucket list coming along?  We’ll be drawing for the first of many prizes this Thursday, 10/5!  It’s never too late to join in.  Read more about it here.

PEAK member Tina Radtke was recently recognized by the Times News for her role in driving the success of the Kingsport Theatre Guild.  With Tina as Executive Director, KTG has gone from $20,000 to $60,000 in ticket sales annually and has increased the number of annual productions.  We are so proud of you, Tina!

The Humanae exhibit will be unveiled Thursday, October 5 at 4:30 PM.  This temporary exhibit is located on the side of the State Theater.  Click here to learn more about the Humanae project.

Have a great week!
