A quick update.
Happy Wednesday! Here’s a quick update on what’s new with PEAK.
There’s still time to register as a volunteer for tomorrow’s The Farmer & The Chef event, hosted by the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee. This annual events raises funds to provide food for the hungry in our community. It’s always one of our most popular volunteer events, as event volunteers enjoy the same farm to table meal that is prepared for guests. Please click here to register as a volunteer.
Could your social media profiles (or lack thereof) be affecting your job search? In today’s blog post, Jeremiah Clark shares a few tips on cleaning up your social profiles.
The Main Street project involves the visioning of the best streetscape for Main Street between Market Street to Sullivan Street. In addition to taking care of the basics, like repairing failed roadway sections, repaving, repairing damaged curbs and updating the sidewalk system to fill-in gaps, the city is making repairs and ensuring ADA compliance. The project aims to set the vision of what Main Street should be. Please click here to complete the survey.
We’re teaming up with our friends at YPTri to host a tailgate party for the region’s young professionals! Join us next Saturday, September 16, for a free hot dog lunch before the Bucs take on the Citadel. Please click here for more information.
Have a great week!
